Anthropic, OpenAI, and Snowflake connectors are generally available
Three connectors leave private beta today. Anthropic: Claude API usage and cost, broken down by model, workspace, and token type. OpenAI: API usage and cost with per-project and per-model attribution. Snowflake: credit and storage metering from ORGANIZATION_USAGE with warehouse-level attribution, credits tracked alongside dollar spend. Every organization can connect them from the Integrations page — no access request. Azure and GCP remain in private beta.
All-sources Overview + combined AI Platforms dashboard
The dashboard home is now an org-wide Overview across everything you've connected — cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), AI platforms (Anthropic, OpenAI), and Snowflake — with total spend, a month-end forecast, an "AI platforms share of spend" KPI, per-source freshness stamps, and stacked by-source charts. The former landing page is honestly renamed Cloud (its scope chip now reads "All clouds"), and orgs with both Anthropic and OpenAI get a combined AI Spend view with a per-provider split. Navigation adapts to what you've connected: one source category goes straight to its dashboard; more than one leads with the Overview. Bill-source rule throughout: Bedrock and Azure OpenAI stay in cloud spend, so every number reconciles against the invoices you actually receive.
Effective Coverage % is live on the Commitments view
The composed Effective Coverage % KPI — Coverage × Utilization — now computes from your CUR on the Commitments view, the top-line number above its coverage and utilization breakdown. Coverage is measured at on-demand-equivalent rates; utilization is dollar-weighted across your commitment portfolio (Methodology v1.0). It comes with a 12-month trend chart, right-sizing guidance on underutilized commitments, and a projected-impact badge on every commitment recommendation ("adopt this and your Effective Coverage % moves 18% → 24%"). MCP server — connect Claude, Cursor, or any AI agent to your cost data
CloudQuell's hosted MCP server is live at mcp.cloudquell.com. Sign in with OAuth (no API keys to manage) and your AI assistant gets 43 tools across costs, budgets, anomalies, savings, commitments, allocation, and reports — honoring the same plan entitlements as the portal. Works with Claude, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Goose, Codex, or any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP + OAuth. Included on every paid plan; setup and the full tool reference live in the MCP section of the docs. The pricing page and /integrations now list it.
Scale plan moves to custom pricing — contact us
Scale is no longer available at a fixed $399/month. High-spend orgs (above $200K/month) should contact us at sales@cloudquell.com to discuss custom pricing. Starter ($99) and Growth ($199) pricing is unchanged.
Anomalies: dismiss, restore, and create-alert from any spike
Dismissed anomalies stay out of the active list (restorable with one click). A Bell icon on each row opens the Alerts tab with a rule pre-filled — name, service, and a suggested spike threshold based on the observed jump. KPI cards refreshed: top offender now shows service + dollar spike on one card; a new "New Services" card surfaces first-time spend with no baseline.
Connector roadmap and security docs published
/integrations now lists every connector with honest, dated status: AWS fully operational; Azure, GCP, OpenAI, and Anthropic shipping through 2026; Snowflake, Datadog, and PagerDuty tracked by request. New /security and /privacy pages document the read-only cross-account IAM model that keeps your cost data in your own AWS account.
New pricing model — Free under $10K, $99 Starter, $199 Growth
Free under $10K monthly cloud spend with the core dashboard and 2 user seats. Starter $99 unlocks anomalies, alerts, Slack and Microsoft Teams, and tag-based allocation. Growth $199 adds more seats and longer retention. Scale covers high-spend orgs above $200K — contact us for pricing. 17% annual discount on Starter and Growth.
Trial expiry: soft demotion replaces hard lockdown
When a trial ends without payment, your organization data is preserved, the owner keeps full access (to upgrade or downgrade), and member seats convert to read-only until the owner makes a call. No more lockouts.
AWS Cost Optimization Hub recommendations surface in the Savings tab
CloudQuell now pulls AWS COH recommendations and renders them alongside our own savings analysis, with provenance tagged on each row. One ranked list, two sources, no tab-switching.
Savings Engine launch — AI-explainable savings + commitment recommendations
The Savings tab ships with rightsizing, idle-resource, commitment, and storage recommendations derived directly from your CUR. Every recommendation is one click away from an AI explanation that breaks down the reasoning, the assumptions, and the rollback plan.
